View from Schoolhouse Peak (elev. 3,097') in the Bald Hills region east of Orick, California.  The Bald Hills Scenic Drive is a high ridge road that passes below this summit where a fire lookout built in the 1960s adorns the top, this region is part of Redwood National & State Parks.  The view here was cloudy w/ light drizzle, on a clear day one can see the nearby Pacific Ocean as well as much of the high peaks of the Klamath Mountains.
