Fährt man auf der B308 von Bad Hindelang zum Ortsteil Oberjoch kommt man kurz vor dem Ziel an der sogenannten Kanzel vorbei, die als Aussichtspunkt über das Ostrachtal geradezu ideal ist. Im Norden des Tals ist der Hirschberg zu sehen.
