Grisons

Caumasee is located near Flims, in the canton Graubunden, Switzerland. Known as, Lag la Cauma, in the Romansh language meaning, Lake of Midday Rest, or in German ‘See der Mittagsruhe’, it is perfect for swimming, relaxing or sunbathing.

In the summer of 2016, it was voted the most beautiful mountain lake in Switzerland by readers of 20 Minuten magazine. There are several reasons that make Lake Caumasee a special place. The color of the water is a mixture of turquoise blue and emerald green, and a very picturesque islet, together with the reflections of the forest around it, make this idyllic lake a paradisiacal place worthy of your visit.

Flims, a picturesque Swiss mountain village, with an unmistakable landscape formed by a natural disaster known as Flims Rockslide, a rockslide in Flims that occurred around 10,000 years ago, in the year 8,000 BC. It is the largest known landslide in the Alps.

Flims is a popular destination. It was in Flims/Laax that in the mid-1980s snowboard pioneers took to the slopes for the first time. After 40 years, Flims is the freestyle capital of Europe, home to the world's largest halfpipe and Europe's largest snow park. With a huge diversity of mountain experiences, including 330 km of bike trails, three lakes: Cauma, Cresta and Laaxersee and the Rhine Canyon Ruinaulta, also called the Swiss Grand Canyon.

O Caumasee fica situado perto de Flims, no cantão Graubunden, Suíça. Conhecido como, Lag la Cauma, na língua romanche que significa, Lago do descanso do meio-dia, ou em alemão ‘See der Mittagsruhe’, é perfeito para nadar, relaxar ou tomar sol.

No verão de 2016, foi eleito o lago de montanha mais bonito da Suíça pelos leitores da revista 20 Minuten. São vários os motivos que fazem o Lago Caumasee um lugar especial. A cor da água é uma mistura de azul turquesa e verde esmeralda, e uma ilhota bem pituresca, juntamente com os reflexos da floresta em seu redor, fazem deste lago dílico um local paradisíaco digno da sua visita.

Flims, uma pitoresca vila montanhosa suíça, com a uma paisagem inconfundível formada por um desastre natural conhecido como Flims Rockslide, um deslizamento de rochas em Flims que aconteceu há cerca de 10.000 anos, no ano de 8.000 a.C. É o maior deslizamento de terra conhecido nos Alpes.
