Saline Valley Warm Springs are located in a remote northwest corner of Death Valley National Park, they are reached by 35 miles or more by rough unpaved roads. The tubs were built by volunteers beginning in the 1950s. The site was managed by the Bureau of Land Management until it was transferred to NPS with the California Desert Protection Act in 1994.
