The view across The Square showing the 17th century Welland House, now home of the Market Harborough Building Society. The War Memorial which is made of Clipsham stone, was erected around 1921. Inscribed on the Memorial are the names of those lost in the Great War 1914 - 1918. Just to the left of the memorial is the entrance to the Remembrance gardens.
