On the island of Gotland, Sweden, graves in the Late Bronze Age were arranged in the shape of large ships, outlined by standing stones. On Gotland, 350 graves have been identified.
There are often several adjoining graves. Their length varies from6 to 46 metres.
Rannarve has 4 boat-shaped graves in a row, the stem of the one being the stern of the next. Each grave is 9 metres long and 5 metres wide.
