Kinney Lake [2]
Montagnes Rocheuses - Alberta

Kinney Lake is the first lake encountered along the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia, during the quiet morning it produces mirrored reflections of Whitehorn Mountain in the backdrop.  Mt. Robson itself is the highest point in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 meters, but was currently in the clouds during this panorama.  Rock flour as glacial silt leaves the lake in a powder blue color, descending down as the Robson River & eventually into the Fraser River.  This was my turnaround point as I was limited in time, but the trail is a popular destination to the more famous Berg Lake further upstream & on the north side of Mt. Robson.
