Colonia Tovar, Aragua (Venezuela)
Venezuela

Located in the Aragua State 35 km from the Victoria and 42 km from Caracas is one of the most charming places of Venezuela, La Colonia Tovar, a town founded for agricultural and industrial development by immigrants from the then independent state of Baden, that for many years isolated from the rest of the country, have maintained for many generations their ancestral traditions and their language, Badischer (dialect from Baden), meals, costumes, dances, etc.

Currently La Colonia is known for its temperate crops (peaches, strawberries, beets, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, kale, broccoli, lettuce, onions and potatoes) and their derivatives and its economy depends primarily on agriculture and tourism.
