The Collegiate Church at Aschaffenburg is rich in historical art works. The church treasurer, a collection of silverware and liturgical objects include the Ottonian crucifix from the tenth century, the "Lamentation of Christ" and "Mary Snow altar" by Mathias Grünewald, and the Romanesque cloister are monuments of the Basilica of St. Peter and Alexander.
