In a focused environment for teaching and research quality, teachers, students and staff perform activities in an area of ​​3825.4 hectares, called Campus "Luiz de Queiroz", corresponding to 48.85% of the total area of the USP. 

The ESALQ offers seven undergraduate degrees, 16 graduate programs (PPG) is an international and inter-unit 2, which use its 12 departments, more than 140 laboratories and experimental stations 4 - Anhembi, Anhumas, Itatinga and Gravel Farm in Piracicaba, where the ESALQTec - Technology Incubator. 

With over thirteen thousand five hundred graduates, the first higher education institution in Brazil to surpass the mark of 10,000 agronomists, ESALQ is in the context of globalization promoted by USP through partnerships with foreign universities, ministries, secretariats status and funding programs managed by the Coordination for Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP).
