China's North Pole Village 2011 heilongjiang
Heilongjiang Province

The village is located in Mohe County in the northern part of the province. Dubbed as "China's North Pole", Mohe is widely believed to be the coldest place in China, as the temperature there falls to as low as -45 C degrees during the winter. the Arctic Village, faces Ignasino, a small town in Federal Russia, just across Heilongjiang River.it is where the aurora borealis can be observed during the summer solstice. ... A rock which caved four words“SHEN ZHOU BEI JI”in the square reminds us ... This is mark of the North Pole village.
