Kapellbrücke is a beautifully restored covered wooden truss bridge originally built in 1333 but largely destroyed by fire in 1993. The bridge spans across the river Reuss in Lucerne. The bridge is considered to be the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe and the oldest surviving truss bridge in the world.
