Astyplaia is one on the most beautiful cyclades islands. The main attraction is the castle of Astropalia residue which is the Venetian. On the outskirts of the castle lies the famous church of Panagia Portaitissa, celebrated on August 15. In celebration of the dinner is free to all, first course in the specialty of the island, famous Lamprianou (lamb stuffed with rice and giblets). Trademark of the island and is very well preserved windmills. Worth visiting is also the castle of St. John, and the two caves on the island, rich in stalactites and stalagmites.
