Bruce Bay is a small community on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. It lies at the mouth of the Mahitahi River. On this warm summer day in February a strong onshore breeze blows off the Tasman Sea bringing rain showers. Logging debris litters the beach with intricate shapes and color in an otherwise monochrome scene.
