The theater place in Aschaffenburg was a parking area for long time. In the 90s, an underground garage was built. The theater received its facade to the place - and the theater place was given a loggia. The defining element of the square is the large sundial. The six meter high gnomon (shadow caster) carries a ball, to read the time allowing the shade.
