This is the northenmost point in Japan northeast of Wakkanai.

Still a bit gloomy at this time of year but great to make it up. In summer lots of people from southern Japan come up to Hokkaido to enjoy the cooler climate and this coming to this spot is a rite of passeage for many a Hokkaido road trip adverturer.
