Normanby Street in Sovereign Hill
Victoria

Panorama of Normanby Street with Gold Smelting Works, Confectionary Shop, Education Centre and a coach drawn by beautiful Clydesdale horses at Sovereign Hill, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

Sovereign Hill is a living museum of the 1850s goldrush era of Ballarat and features a whole small township with residential buildings, schools, shops, workshops, hotels, bakeries, gold mines and gold panning area.

The large and very entertaining museum is run by the not-for-profit community based Sovereign Hill Museums Association.
