Longmen Mountain of Danzhou
Exotic stones, surging waves
Located at Seaside Longmen Mountain in Eman town of Danzhou, it is one of famous scenic spots along volcanic coast from Yangpu to Eman. Longmen Mountain is a costal rocky mountain with 39 meters altitude. There are tremendous strange rocks on the mountain Looking from north to south, mountain peaks stretch long and unbroken, creating a quite spectacular view* It look just like the Great Wall. The gate on the east side of mountain has a reputation &s the First Door to South Sky. When the north wind is blowing, the huge waves strike the rock gate. The sound, like beating drums,resounds across ten miles. That is the origin for ''Breaker at the Dragon Gate".
According to History Book of Danzhou, Fu Nanshe, the leader of Li Group in Ming Dynasty, settled down there with his troop after suffering a setback in uprising. They fought with official armies for over ten years at the place. Breaker at the Dragon Gate gained il& name in Ming Dynasty and wad admired by visitors since then.
Tour Guide: It is in the northwest area of Eman Bay, 55 kilometers away from downtown. You can reach the place when you get Light Tower and wind mill after walking in the direction of sea.
