There are actually 2 lakes, linked to each other by a shallow natural canal.

Wildlife is fully protected here. In the summer you can find blue and red dragonflies. Birds are also present in various species, some stay only for the summertime, some through the whole year.

A nature paradise very little known even in Italy.
