This is where Ned Kelly was captured. After leaving the siege at Ann Jones Inn to warn Tom Lloyd and the sympathizers, he returned to the siege to rescue the remaining two members of his gang (Steve Hart and Dan Kelly). But he was shot and captured at this spot.
