Höytiäisen kanava in Noljakka is an artificial channel that flows from the Lake Höytiäinen to the Lake Pyhäselkä in Northern Karelia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%B6yti%C3%A4isenkanava

In the river delta of Höytiäisen kanava there is a nature conservation area wherein is located a birdwatching tower that was selected in 2002 the best tower in Finland.
