Avenue de la Gare is one of the largest avenues in the center of Sion, Valais, Switzerland. This avenue connects the northern part of town to the train station of Sion and the shopping area in the city center. Sion, located on the lowest part of the Rhone rive, is the capital of the canton of Valais and the oldest city in Switzerland with about 7000 years rich in history, with numerous monuments distributed throughout the town.
