First mentioned in 1248, the Castle Frauenburg was home to the famous Minnesinger Ulrichs von Liechtenstein. The castle was in various hands during the centuries, but with the 19th century, deriliction started to bring the castle down. Today the ruin is safe to visit and open to the public.
