Vartop is a small village in the Vidin municipality, situated over the canyon of Archar river 3 kilometers from the international road E-79 Sofia-Vidin-Kalafat. From the intersection of the latter at Sratsimir rail station there is an asphalt road. The annual fun fair in Vartop village takes place on the ecclesiastical holiday Holy Spirit with a lot of music and collective horo dancing.
