Tarbert Harbour, Argyll and Bute, Scotland
Scotland

Tarbert is a small fishing harbour, located at the narrow strip of land that connects Knapdale and the Kintyre peninsula. In the past, cargoes were unloaded from ships berthed on one side of the loch, carried over the isthmus and loaded onto vessels on the other loch, meaning that ships could avoid the tedious passage around the Mull of Kintyre.
