宜蘭縣的冬山車站在2004年鐵路架高、重建，由大藏聯合建築事務所設計。以現代的鋼骨、薄膜材料交織出極具現代感的弧形曲線，遠處看便是一座大型的瓜棚，也順應當地冬山舊名「冬瓜山」，也是宜蘭最美的火車站，甚至有人認為是全台最美的火車站。

Dongshan train station in YiLan county was rebuilt due to elevation construction in 2004. It was designed by D.Z Architects & Associates. By using modern steel and film to weave curves that looks very modern. It looks like a giant melon-fram from a distance. And also respond to the original local name: Chinese watermelon mountain. It is regarded as the most beautiful traing station in Yi-Lan, or even in Taiwan.
