Panorama of Lyveden New Bield, Northamptonshire. UK
England
Situated in East Northamptonshire, Lyveden New Bield now owned by the National Trust, dates from the late 1500s, and consists of a Garden Lodge (Scheduled Monuments grade 1 listed in 1987) and a Moated Garden (grade 1 listed – Register of Historic Parks and Gardens). The property was built and developed under the instructions of Sir Thomas Tresham. Sir Thomas Tresham designed and constructed Lyveden as a testament to his Catholic faith. Both the building and the garden were still under construction when, in 1605, Sir Thomas died in the Tower of London and work on the project ceased. Captured Feb 2020 by Creative Vibes Ltd.
