Ibrox Stadium
Scotland

Home to Glasgow Rangers Football Club, who are current Scottish Premier League Champions and extended their world record to 54 national titles, in the process.

It is one of only a few stadia that have been awarded a 5-star status by UEFA, with an all seated capacity of 51,082.

The statue in front of the stadium is a tribute to the 93 supporters who have perished in three disasters that happened at the 'old' stadium, which was a steep banked, oval, standing terracing.

This stadium was built between the late 1970's, in various stages, till it was  finally completed in 1991, with the addition of the top tier on the Main Stand.

Ibrox stadium still holds the British record attendance for a league game, when 118,567 supporters watched Rangers beat their arch-rivals Celtic 2-1, on January 2nd 1939.
