The settlement on the island Susak has two parts: Donje Selo is the lower part of the village, Gornje Selo is located atop a small hill. This is Donje Selo, an evening at the harbour. The upper part of the village with the church is visible left of the boats.

The island of Cres can be reached from Brestova via the ferry to Porozina. Ferries operate regularly and frequently during the summer season, but there is often a long waiting because of the many tourists visiting the island.
