Refugio de las Loras (Parrots refuge waterfall) is located in Loreto, La Paz Community. The height of the waterfall is 15m high. The water falls over the rocks forming a natural pool, 30m diameter and 2,5m depth. On the top there are holes that serve as a refuge for parrots. Their nest are camuflaged by mosses and lichens. This is how these parrots protect their nesting from predators
