In this panorama the view is towards the junction of two streams within Canyon De Chelly National Monument. The two streams are Whisky Creek in the south canyon and Tsaile Creek in the north Canyon. The actual joining of the streams is hidden behind the large sandstone "iland" in the foregroud of the opening veiw.  At their junction, together, they are renamed Chinle Wash.
