Gigapixel bokehrama of a Victorian-era toilet
England

I loved the textures and details in this old Victorian bathroom stall in an artist’s studio at Islington Mill in Salford last April, so I decided it’d be perfect for a 360° bokehrama aka 'Brenizer' panorama*.

Shoot details: Canon 5D Mk III, EF 50mm 1.4, Nodal Ninja 5. Shot at f1.4, 3exp AEB (-2, 0, +2), enfused. Approx. 1.33 gigapixel 360° panorama. According to Brett Maxwell’s well-known online calculator, this is an effective aperture of f0.158 :-)

*Ryan Brenizer popularised this technique for non-360° photography, but the process goes back further and the name is contentious with some photographers. I prefer the name 'bokehrama' which alludes to the super-shallow depth-of-field of this technique, and the soft 'bokeh' one gets as a result…
