The Sylva Cabin is located b/w the Shasta & Butte Valleys, California.  It is in the picturesque Shovel Creek Meadows & adorned with aspen groves.  The cabin itself is long abandoned & in slow decay, yet remains a protected historical site.  The walls are adorned with many signatures from recent to as far back as the 1910s if not earlier.  There is little history known about this little homestead cabin in the woods however the name Sylva I spotted several times among the signatures, the oldest dating back to the mid-1920s.
