Forge is probably built around 1900 with boulders. In 1930 the forge expanded considerably both with a recycled wooden building partly to the expansion of concrete. Forge had earlier the important role to forge iron bands to the barrels that were used to transport train oil and fish to Europe. Forge houses the museum's workshop.
