Cominotto or Cominetto (Maltese: Kemmunett) is a tiny little island situated just opposite the Blue Lagoon. It is a short swim away from the Blue Lagoon itself. This makes it much less crowded since it is inaccessible by other means. It doesn't have any man-made structures on it which helps preserve its unique atmosphere. The area on the photo is where water has been splashing onto rocks and evaporating leaving salt deposits behind.
