Gates of Dawn, Vilnius Lithuania
Vilnius

It suppose to be spring. Its march. When I was walking by it started to snow like crazy. Huge snowflakes where covering me and the camera. It suddenly was dark as snow in the air covered everything. The place is called saint dawns gate. It has special meaning for local as well as Polish Christians and tourists. The gate was once the exit of the town, but nowadays its in the middle of the city an is exit only from rich and glamorous old town to the district that harbors train station. As in many cities train station is surrounded with more poverty. So here it is Vilnius in a snowy 5th of march 2012. *Vilnius (in Lithuanian) is also known as Wilno (in Polish) Wilna (German) Вильнюс, Вильна (Russian) Вільня/Vilnja (Belarusian) ווילנע / Wilne (Yiddish)
