A glorious Icelandic evening in the iconic Þingvellir National Park, looking towards Þingvallavatn (Lake Þingvellir)… the largest freshwater lake in Iceland.

Elsewhere in the scene is a typical vegetation typical of volcanic scrubland: dwarf birches and Icelandic mosses running over hardened lava flows and unworldly fissures criss-crossing this rift valley.
