The doors of this small, cozy chapel, built on top of the "Taushan tepe" hill near Mirkovo at the lap of the great Balkan mountain, are never locked. Although no priest is available except on special occasions, the chapel always welcomes readily the passing stranger. Its shiny, gold-plated dome can be seen from miles around.
