Aerial view (about 100') at the Collins Creek Baldy fire lookout atop Bald Mountain (elev. 5,492') near Scott Bar, California.  The fire lookout was completed in 1934 by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp.).  From here one gets fantastic views of the Scott Bar Mountains, Marble Mountains, Boulder Peak, Marble Rim, Black Marble Mountain, Kings Castle, distant Preston Peak, the Red Buttes, massive Condrey Mountain (& Dry Lake Mountain), Cottonwood Peak, & Mt. Shasta in the clouds.
